Kevin H. Norige, D.M.D., F.I.C.D.
Kevin H. Norige, D.M.D., F.I.C.D. is a prominent dentist, author, and lecturer focused on oral health as part of the whole body system. He is the founder and chief dentist at South Windsor Smiles.
Dr. Norige is Co-Chairman of the Connecticut State Dental Association Annual Scientific Meeting, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Member of the exclusive Horace Welles Society, and maintains membership in the American Dental Society, the Hartford Dental Society, and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health. Dr. Norige has been a preceptor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, a professor at St. Joseph’s College, and Co-Chairman of the CSDA’s Pregnancy Clinic at the annual Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Norige has provided dental care to patients in four countries in North and Central America, as well as patients from Sweden, Uruguay, Venezuela, and China. Dr. Norige has experience treating people from a wide range of backgrounds including doctors, lawyers, bus drivers, retirees, and professional athletes.
Dr. Norige was honored to be inducted into the International College of Dentists, in recognition of his dental service in Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, and on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana.
Dr. Norige has been seen on “Better Connecticut” and “Eyewitness News” on WFSB Channel 3, heard on “Between Rounds” on WTIC AM 1080, and in an exclusive interview on eHealth Radio. Dr. Norige has had multiple articles published in “Natural Nutmeg” magazine. As a speaker, Dr. Norige has appeared at the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Boy Scouts of America, privately owned dental practices, and local schools.
Dr. Norige is a member of the South Windsor High School Hall of Fame and is recipient of the “Silver Beaver” award for distinguished service from the Boy Scouts of America.
Dr. Norige has been married to his wife Donna for over forty years. Dr. and Mrs. Norige have two married children and five grandchildren, one girl and 4 boys. Aside from playing the role of “Papa” to his grandkids, he enjoys hiking, biking, nearly any outdoor activity, and is an avid reader.
